MCP VII - Small and Medium Enterprises Management and Development

Microfinance Institutions need to understand small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in order to effectively provide financial services to them. In this course, candidates would be taken through an overview of SMEs (their nature, importance, challenges and procspects). Candidates will understand "entrepreneurship management" including contemporary view of entrepreneurship, business models, idea management and business planning for SMEs. The course covers marketing in SMEs and financial management of SMEs. The course ends with leadeship and competency development for effective financing of SMEs.
